International Law Practice – the team
BEATA KIELAR-TAMMERT | Legal Adviser
A legal adviser with many years’ experience in providing legal services to businesses and private clients, specialising in international and cross-border matters. For many years, she worked as an in-house lawyer, advising company governing bodies and gaining practical experience in commercial, corporate and employment law. As a result, she combines legal expertise with a business perspective on her clients’ needs and objectives. Her fluency in German has enabled her to develop the firm’s practice in serving German-speaking businesses and handling Polish-German matters. She assists both companies and private individuals in matters requiring knowledge of different legal systems. She represents clients before the courts and administrative authorities, including in matters of an international nature. She is registered on the list of legal advisers of the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers in Wrocław and on the List of Foreign Lawyers of the Berlin Bar Association.
DAWID SZKOLNIK | Lawyer | Trainee solicitor | German Desk
A lawyer and trainee solicitor at the Wrocław Bar Association. A graduate of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics at the University of Wrocław. At the firm, he works within the German Desk, where he assists clients in Polish-German matters. He has experience in advising both private clients and businesses, particularly in matters requiring knowledge of Polish, German and EU law. Thanks to his fluency in German, he advises German-speaking clients, Poles living abroad and businesses planning to expand into German-speaking markets. In her practice, she focuses primarily on employment and social security law, commercial and business law, debt recovery through the courts, bringing products to market within the European Union, and compliance issues relating to foreign employment law.
KAMILA WODECKA | Lawyer | Trainee legal adviser
A lawyer and trainee legal adviser with academic and international experience. A graduate of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics and the Faculty of Historical and Pedagogical Sciences at the University of Wrocław, where she studied law and art history. She gained teaching experience at universities in the United States, delivering academic classes and lectures to students and academic communities. She has also worked in an international professional environment, including in the USA and Singapore, which has enabled her to develop a practical understanding of working in a cross-border context. She is fluent in English and supports the Law Firm in matters requiring international communication, particularly in the areas of immigration law, residence permits and the employment of foreign nationals.
KAMILA RETERSKA | Secretariat
She is responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the secretariat’s work and is usually the first person the firm’s clients contact. She ensures smooth communication, the flow of information and the proper channelling of matters to the relevant team members. They support the team in the day-to-day organisation of work and the coordination of ongoing matters. Thanks to their organisational skills, commitment and ability to react quickly, they are also highly adept at handling non-routine tasks – which is why they also act as the firm’s „special tasks” officer.
NICOLE TAMMERT | Marketing and Communications
At the Law Firm, she is responsible for marketing and communications. She creates and coordinates content published on social media and in newsletters, and also supports the organisation of webinars, training sessions and other educational projects. She is also responsible for the technical and organisational aspects of the Law Firm’s promotional activities. She ensures the consistency of the firm’s communications and makes sure that specialist legal knowledge is presented in a clear, accessible and engaging manner for the audience. She is fluent in English, which enables her to support the firm’s communications activities in the international arena.
