Streamlining the employment of non-EU foreigners - is it possible?

Following the link below is a very interesting article on a study conducted by the Association for Legal Intervention in the area of hiring foreigners from outside the European Union.

It turns out that 81 % of the companies surveyed show a willingness to employ non-EU workers in the future, while the most serious obstacle seems to be the intricate and lengthy legalisation procedures. The waiting time for the issuing of a work permit is as long as two months from the moment of application. Time for change!

The association recommends the introduction of automation and computerisation of the system legalisation of work of foreigners. According to them, this system could operate entirely online without the need for employers to visit the authorities. Such a system would considerably simplify the whole process of trying to legalise the residence of workers from outside the European Union.
